Medborgarskapsprovet · spring 2027
A small online group course that takes you through the civics content and the Swedish you need for the test, step by step, in the language you understand best.
Since 6 June 2026, most people applying for Swedish citizenship must show knowledge of Swedish and of Swedish society.
Most applicants aged 16–66
The requirement applies to most adult applicants. There are exceptions, so check your own case with Migrationsverket.
Swedish + knowledge of society
You need to show both: knowledge of Swedish society (the civics test) and knowledge of the Swedish language.
Paper · multiple choice · Swedish only
The questions are based on the official study material “Sverige i fokus”. There is no translation on test day.
Next sitting planned for spring 2027
UHR organises the test. Dates and registration can change, so always check uhr.se.

Even people who speak Swedish every day can struggle with the formal words of politics, law and history.
How the Riksdag works, municipalities and regions, rights and duties, Swedish history: a lot to learn alone from a book.
Multiple choice with answers that look alike rewards careful reading. That's a skill you can train.
Every topic of the study material explained in Turkish or Arabic, then practised in Swedish.
The Swedish words that keep coming back: democracy, rights, the welfare system, history.
Multiple-choice practice in the test format, with an explanation for every answer.
Up to 8 people per group, live on Google Meet, with a WhatsApp group for questions between lessons.
Democracy, the Riksdag, the government, regions and municipalities, with the key words.
Rights and duties, laws, the welfare system and work.
Swedish history, culture and everyday society.
Practice tests with a time limit, review of your weak topics and test-day tips.

“I've been taking lessons with Georgia for about a year, and my English has improved enormously. Thank you for all the care and attention you give to every lesson.”

No. It's independent preparation by an experienced language tutor. UHR runs the test and Migrationsverket decides the rules.
You need to show knowledge of Swedish too. Right now this can be done in different ways, for example with school grades, a pass in the highest SFI course or TISUS, and a Swedish language test is planned. Check the current rules with Migrationsverket.
Yes. Explanations are in Turkish or Arabic, and we build the key Swedish words step by step. If your Swedish is very basic, a few 1-on-1 lessons before the course can help, and I'll tell you honestly in the trial lesson.
No one can honestly guarantee a test result. What I promise is clear explanations, lots of practice in the test format and support until test day.
Groups are planned before the next test sitting. Join the waitlist on WhatsApp and you'll hear the start dates first.
